The Bajaj Platina is a very popular commuter motorcycle in the Indian market. It’s been on sale for a few years, and overtime the manufacturer has introduced new variants and updated the motorcycle over time. The latest variant of the motorcycle is the recently launched Platina 110 ABS. Here are five things to know about the Platina 110 ABS.

Bajaj Platina 110 ABS: Design

Design-wise, the Platina 110 ABS looks identical to the other variants of the Platina. It has a single-pod headlamp with halogen bulbs and an LED daytime running light above it in the form of a stripe. A small tinted visor sits above the headlamp. There is a one-piece seat and flat footrests taken from Platina Comfortec. Bajaj has also added some new graphics on the sides to enhance the motorcycle’s appeal. There are three color options – Cocktail Burgundy, Saffron Blue and Ebony Black.

Bajaj Platina 110 ABS: Specifications

The Platina 110 ABS features a 115.45 cc, DTS-i powered engine producing 8.48 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 9.81 Nm at 5,000 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

Bajaj Platina 110 ABS: Features

The Platina 110 ABS is equipped with a semi-digital gauge cluster, gear position indicator, gear guide indicator and ABS indicator. The Platina 110 ABS is the only motorcycle in its segment equipped with single-channel ABS.

The Platina 110 ABS uses a tubular single downtube with a lower bracket for the chassis. The frame is suspended by hydraulic telescopic forks at the front with 135mm of travel and gas-filled shock absorbers at the rear with 110mm of travel. The Bajaj uses 80/100 R17 tires front and rear. They are both tubeless types. Braking duties are handled by 240mm discs with single-channel ABS at the front and rear, and a 110mm drum brake with CBS.
