Harley-Davidson has launched its 2023 iteration of the Freewheeler three-wheeler globally. The tricycle has been updated a lot. Harley-Davidson doesn’t sell the Freewheeler in the Indian market, and it’s highly unlikely that it will make it to the Indian market. Harley updated the Freewheeler with dark elements.

The elements that are blacked out are therefore the front end, headlight nacelles, fuel tank console, hand and foot controls, powertrain and exhaust. New gloss black cast-aluminum wheels now measure 18 inches at the rear, up from the 15 inches the outgoing version used to use.

The Freewheeler is powered by a Milwaukee-8 114 engine.

The tricycle is equipped with cornering-enhanced electronic linkage braking system, cornering-enhanced anti-lock braking system (ABS), cornering-enhanced traction control system and cornering-enhanced drag torque slip control system.

There’s an electric reverse gear, a mini-ape handlebar, bespoke bobtail rear fenders, twin mufflers with sloping tips and a weatherproof boot with a capacity of around 55 liters.

Powering the 2023 Freewheeler is a Milwaukee-Eight 114 powertrain. It produces 88 bhp at 4,750 rpm with a peak torque output of 165 Nm. The duty transmission is a 6-speed unit.

In addition to the Freewheeler, Harley-Davidson also launched seven limited-edition models to celebrate its 120th anniversary. In addition, a new Nightster special edition was launched. It has an updated look and more features than the standard version.

There’s a headlight cover, new decals and a rear seat with footrests. In terms of new additions, the Nightster Special features a 4-inch TFT screen and Bluetooth connectivity. The Nightster is already on sale in the Indian market starting at ¥Rs 1.499 lakh (ex-showroom).
