Harley Davidson has introduced the 2023 Nightster, their entry into the middleweight category. In addition, Harley-Davidson also launched seven limited-edition models to celebrate its 120th anniversary. The Nightster is already on sale in the Indian market starting at ¥1.499 million (ex-showroom). As of now, it is unclear whether Harley-Davidson will bring the Nightster Special to India.
The Nightster Special is based on the standard Nightster. However, there are some changes. It gets a headlight housing and new decals on the body panels. There’s also a passenger seat and footpegs, so the backseat is comfortable too.
Nightster uses Revolution Max 975T liquid-cooled V-twin engine
The alloy wheels are cast from aluminum and a tire pressure monitoring system is also available. The Nighter Special’s ergonomics have been tweaked, as the brand installed a handlebar riser, so it’s now taller and closer to the rider. This should give the rider a more important position.
Harley-Davidson also added a TFT display, which measures 4 inches and has a circular shape to preserve the vintage appeal. The TFT screen also features Bluetooth connectivity. It is controlled by buttons on the switchgear, and the rider can also issue voice commands. There is also a navigation system built into the Harley Davidson app, available on Android and iOS devices. The TFT screen can also show directions when navigating through apps.

Braking duties are performed by axially mounted four-piston calipers and 320 mm rotors at the front. At the rear, there’s a 260mm rotor with a floating single-piston caliper. The fuel tank has a capacity of 11.7 liters and is located under the seat to help improve the center of gravity, but it also means the rider has to get out of the bike and remove the seat to top up the tank.
The motorcycle is equipped with riding modes, cruise control, USB charging port, drag torque slip control system, ABS and traction control.
