KTM India is ready to launch the 2023 200 Duke in the Indian market. The brand has released the first teaser image of the updated 200 Duke, which means the motorcycle will be launched soon. Additionally, the 2023 iteration of the 200 Duke has started arriving at dealerships.
The teaser reveals that the 2023 200 Duke will get LED headlights from the 390 Duke. Other than that, there will be no major changes to the motorcycle. It is expected that the existing 200 Duke will continue to be sold, while the new 200 Duke will sit above the current one. KTM has adopted a similar strategy with the 390 Adventure, which now offers four different variants.
The current price of 200 Duke is ¥193,000 and the new 200 Duke will cost approximately ¥There are 5,000 more. 200 Duke currently sits between 125 Duke and 250 Duke. The most powerful Duke currently on sale is still the 390 Duke. The manufacturer has discontinued the 790 Duke, which was brought to India in limited units.
The 200 Duke will continue to feature a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine capable of producing 24.68 bhp at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 19.3 Nm at 8,000 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
In terms of functionality, the 200 Duke is equipped with an LCD instrument panel that can display a lot of important information. In contrast, the 390 Duke is equipped with a TFT screen. Dual-channel ABS is also available. The 200 Duke has to compete with the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Suzuki Gixxer 250.

Currently, the brand is working on a new generation of the 390 Duke. It looks sharper than the current 390 Duke. It features a new body with new LED lighting elements. It also looks more muscular than the current-generation 390 Duke thanks to a new design.
Additionally, KTM is expected to increase the engine’s displacement from 373 cc to 399 cc. This means the engine’s power and torque output will increase. The current 390 Duke has an output of 43 bhp and 37 Nm.
