Recently, KTM India has enriched the 390 Adventure portfolio by launching different versions of the motorcycle. The brand has launched the 390 Adventure X, and another variant with a lowered seat height is expected. The brand has now unveiled the 2023 iteration of the 390 Adventure X, and it’s getting some long-awaited features. Here are five things to know about the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure.
2023 KTM 390 Adventure: Spoke Wheels
People prefer spoked wheels on adventure wagons. This is because alloy wheels have the potential to crack under high speed impacts with potholes, while motorcycles with spoked rims will still run and still hold. The 2023 390 Adventure’s spoked wheels are made of anodized aluminum and painted black.
2023 KTM 390 Adventure: Adjustable Suspension
This is something KTM has been offering for quite some time in the global market. Indian consumers have long requested this feature. Now, finally, the KTM 390 Adventure will feature WP Apex suspension settings with adjustable compression, rebound and preload. The USD forks are damped at 30 clicks each of compression and rebound. The rear monoshock is rebound adjustable with 20 clicks while retaining 10 steps of preload adjustability.
2023 KTM 390 Adventure: Features
In terms of features, the 390 Adventure continues to feature motorcycle traction control with 3D IMU (inertial measurement unit), Quickshifter+, lean angle sensitive cornering ABS, riding modes (street and off-road), off-road ABS, ride-by-wire and LED headlights. Added to this is a 46mm throttle body and a slipper clutch with a 5-inch color TFT display, controlled via a switch mechanism on the handlebar.
