European brand KTM on Monday announced the launch of the 2023 390 Adventure, which will start at ¥360,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The latest version of the adventure bike will be sold alongside the existing 390 Adventure and 390 Adventure X variants. This model features fully adjustable suspension and spoked wheels and comes in a new Rally Orange colorway.
Customers have wanted adjustable suspension settings on the 390 Adventure since the bike was first introduced three years ago. Now they can tailor ride quality, handling and comfort to their individual needs and load capacity. The front USD fork is adjustable with 30 clicks for compression and rebound, while the rear monoshock is adjustable with 20 clicks for rebound. It retains the 10-step preload adjustability.

The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure now rides on light-spoke wheels (19-inch front, 17-inch rear) with black anodized aluminum rims. This means a smoother ride on adventurous trails without worrying about obstacles like roots or rocks.
On the tech front, the adventure bike gets motorcycle traction control via a 3D inertial measurement unit or IMU, Quickshifter+, lean angle sensitive cornering ABS, riding modes – street and off-road, off-road ABS, ride-by-wire and LED headlights. Riders will benefit from a 5-inch color TFT display and intuitive handlebar switchgear.
The KTM 390 Adventure bike was first launched in the country three years ago, and since then it has become one of the iconic adventure bikes in the segment as demand for such bikes has grown. “Adventure-oriented motorcycles are growing in India in the on/off segment. Our KTM Pro-XP Adventure product saw a surge of 60% customer engagement,” said Sumeet Narang, President, Pro-Biking (Bajaj Auto Ltd.).
The KTM 390 Adventure bike is a tribute to KTM’s Dakar Rally achievements, with 19 victories and 22 podium finishes since 2001.
