Royal Enfield has launched the 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in the Indian market. The Interceptor 650 will now be available in four new colorways, while the Continental GT 650 gets two new colors. 2023 Interceptor 650 from ¥303,000 (ex-showroom) and 2023 Continental GT 650 starting price ¥319,000 (ex-showroom). Reservations for motorcycles start today.

The Interceptor 650 will be available in four stunning new colorways, including two blacked-out variants – Black Ray and Barcelona Blue. The other two new colors are Black Pearl and Cali Green. The new paint scheme joins existing colors, namely Mark 2, Sunset Strip and Canyon Red.
The Continental GT 650 is now available in two new blacked-out versions: Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey. In addition to this, the motorcycle will also be sold in Mr Clean, Dux Deluxe, British Racing Green and Rocker Red. New blacked-out variants on the Interceptor and Continental GT will feature blacked-out engine and exhaust components.
The bikes now feature new switchgear taken from Super Meteor and are made of aluminum. There’s also a new LED headlight, which is also taken from the Super Meteor 650. Finally, a USB port is also provided.

The blacked-out version also comes standard with alloy wheels and tubeless tires. The Continental GT 650 will ride on Vredestein tires, while the Interceptor 650 will ride on Ceat Zoom Cruz.
No changes were made to the engine. The motorcycle thus continued with a 648 cc parallel-twin engine that was air-oil cooled and had a 270-degree crank. It produces 47 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque output of 52 Nm at 5,150 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission with slipper and assist clutch.
