2023 Suzuki Hayabusa launched with OBD2 compliance and three new colors

Suzuki Indian Motorcycles has announced the launch of the 2023 Hayabusa which is now OBD2-A compliant. 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa is priced at ¥1.641 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), available at the company’s big bike dealers from today. It’s getting new two-tone colors — Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Red, Metallic Matte Black 2 and Glass Glitter Black, and Pearl Vibrant Blue and Pearl White.

Without any mechanical changes, the Suzuki Hayabusa continues to draw power from a 1,340 cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. The motor produces 187 bhp and 150 Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Hayabusa is equipped with top-spec hardware, including a twin-spar aluminum frame and swingarm. The bike is equipped with a 43mm KYB USD fork with 120mm of travel and a KYB linkage monoshock in the rear. Both units are fully adjustable. Braking performance comes from Brembo Stylema brake calipers shod with Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tires.

These new colors add another layer of style and sophistication to an already legendary motorcycle. We are sure that the new shades will also be popular with motorcycle enthusiasts in the country favorite.”

The Suzuki Hayabusa is one of the few locally assembled superbikes in India, and the bike continues to be in strong demand for its thunderous performance and power. The Hayabusa also rides impressively, and as a touring bike, the bike feels great on longer stretches of trail. In terms of electronic aids, Hayabusa is equipped with 6-axis IMU, power mode selector, anti-lift control system, two-way quick shifter, engine brake control, motion trajectory control and other functions. Hayabusa weighs 266 kg (curb).
