Triumph Motorcycles India has finally launched the 2023 Street Triple 765 RS and Street Triple 765 R. The 2023 Triumph Street Triple R is priced at ¥1.017 million, while the Street Triple RS is priced at ¥1.181 million. All prices are ex-showroom prices in India. Triumph will not be bringing the top Street Triple Moto2 variant sold internationally to India. The middleweight Street Fighter gets a host of upgrades for better performance and a fresh new look.

The 2023 Street Triple 765 Series now has a sharper look. New twin-pod LED headlamps with LED DRLs are inspired by the larger Street Triple 1200 RS. The motorcycle also received revised bodywork for a more aggressive new look, while housing a larger 15-litre fuel tank, a gull-wing swingarm and new radiator fairings. The Street Triple RS further differentiates itself with body-coloured webs, a seat cover above the rear seat and a lower chain guard.

2023 Street Triple 765: Colors
Color options for the Street Triple R include Silver Ice and Crystal White. The Triumph Street Triple RS, meanwhile, offers three paint schemes – Silver Ice, Carnival Red and Cosmic Yellow.
2023 Street Triple: Specifications
The 2023 Triumph Street Triple lineup draws power from a 765 cc inline three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. On the Street Triple R, the electric motor is tuned to 118.4 bhp at 11,500 rpm and delivers a peak torque of 80 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The electric motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and gets an assist and slipper clutch with a two-way quickshifter. The Street Triple RS, on the other hand, puts out 128.2 bhp at 12,000 rpm and 80 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm.
2023 Triumph Street Triple R and RS: Features
The updated Triumph Street Triple RS is friendlier with its plethora of electronic aids. This includes cornering ABS, lean-sensing traction control, linked braking system, wheelie control and five riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport, Track and Rider. Meanwhile, the 2023 Street Triple R has four riding modes, with the individual Rider mode being left out. The Street Triple R has an LCD display, while the RS uses a fancier TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity. The latter also comes with a lap timer and cruise control, which is more suitable for the track.

2023 Triumph Street Triple R and RS: Mechanical
The 2023 Triumph Street Triple RS features some top-spec components, including a 41mm Showa Dollar Big Piston Fork (BPF) up front and an Ohlins STX40 piggyback reservoir monoshock at the rear. Braking performance comes from twin 310mm floating discs with Brembo Stylema four-piston radial monobloc calipers at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear. The Street Triple R uses a Showa 41 mm independent function fork at the front and a Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock at the rear. Stopping power is also more basic, with twin 310mm front discs with Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial calipers and a single 220mm rear disc.
The new Triumph Street Triple R and RS will take on the Ducati Monster, Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Streetfighter V2, BMW F 900 R and more in the middleweight segment.
