Actor Amit Sadh is known for various roles ranging from appearances on television, to films like Kai Po Che, Sultan, Gold and Sarkar 3, to his recent appearances on OTT shows like Breathe , Avrodh Jeet Ki Zid, etc. But the actor is also an avid motorcyclist himself, having owned several premium motorcycles over the years. With the upgrades, the 39-year-old is now ready to hit the road with his latest possession, the Triumph Tiger 1200 adventure motorcycle, which was recently delivered to him.

Amit Sadh took to social media platform Instagram to share his latest ride while reiterating his love of “making movies and riding”. He also thanked Shoeb Farooq, Head of Triumph Motorcycles India, and the brand’s team for making the buying experience seamless. Sadh has been associated with Triumph several times in the past and also owns other motorcycles from the manufacturer.
The Triumph Tiger 1200, the brand’s flagship adventure tourer, was launched in India in May this year. The top-spec Tiger was developed entirely from the ground up, from engine to chassis. The bike is almost 25kg lighter than its predecessor and draws power from a newly developed 1,160 cc inline three-cylinder T-engine producing 147 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 130 Nm at 7,000 rpm peak torque. The electric motor is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and two-way quickshifter. The Tiger 1200 has a shaft drive that sends power to the rear wheels, which also makes it virtually maintenance-free in the long run.

The Triumph Tiger 1200 is big on electronics, and the feature list includes a 7-inch TFT display for the instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, TPMS, electronically adjustable suspension, six ride modes, and more. Safety aids include hill hold control, cornering ABS, a radar system with blind spot detection and lane change warning, heated handlebars and keyless operation.
The new Tiger 1200 is available in a number of variants, with the GT series being more road oriented and the Rally variant more suitable for off-roading. One noticeable difference is the fuel tank capacity, which is 20 liters on the former and 30 liters on the latter. The Triumph Tiger 1200 is priced from ¥Base GT Pro trim is 1.919 million, rising to ¥Explorer version is 2.169 million. All prices are ex-showroom prices in India.
