Actor Dulquer Salmaan receives his limited edition Ultraviolette F77

Dulquer Salmaan, one of the biggest stars of Malayalam cinema and avid oil head, now proudly owns an Ultraviolet F77 limited edition electric sports bike. It’s the first electric product to grace the actor’s enviable garage, with the actor getting model #001 of the limited edition F77 announced last year. Salmaan handed over his F77 at the manufacturer’s new experience center in Bangalore called the Ultraviolet Hangar, or UVH-01.

Dulquer Salmaan is one of the investors in Ultraviolet Automotive and has been actively involved in the development of electric motorcycles. The F77 is the company’s first product, first announced last year. The F77 starts at ¥380,000, rising to ¥450,000 Recon version (ex-showroom). While prices for the limited-edition F77s have yet to be announced, expect them to command a slight premium over the Recon.

The Ultraviolet F77 Limited Edition has more power and torque than the stock model and is limited to 77 units. At the unveiling, Ultraviolette announced that all units sold out in just two hours after the pre-order window went live. Each limited edition F77 is uniquely numbered and comes with a special paint scheme – Meteor Gray and Afterburner Yellow. Performance figures have also been boosted with the PMS electric motor putting out 40.2 hp (30.2 kW) and 100 Nm of peak torque.

The F77 Limited Edition has a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.8 seconds and a top speed of 152 km/h. The limited edition variant is powered by the same 10.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the largest of any electric two-wheeler in India, and can travel 307 km on a single charge.

Other notable features include a 5-inch TFT screen, 41mm USD fork and rear monoshock, 320mm front and 230mm disc brakes, dual-channel ABS from Bosch, three ride modes – Glide, Fight and Ballistic, and more. The battery can be fully charged in 7-8 hours using an AC charger, and this model also offers a fast charge option. The F77 also features connectivity as well as a built-in eSIM.
