Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd.’s electric two-wheeler brand Ampere has announced a new version of the Primus RCB to celebrate the manufacturer’s partnership with the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) Bangalore Royal Challengers. The T20 tournament kicked off earlier this week and there will be multiple announcements made by Ampere as part of the association. Ampere Primus RCB Edition Available for Preorder ¥499.
The Ampere Primus RCB version will be produced in limited numbers. A limited edition electric scooter will be given away to a fun player on the team at each home game. Pricing for the new Primus RCB Edition has not yet been announced.

Commenting on the partnership, Sanjay Behl, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Greaves Electric Mobility Private Ltd said, “The Ampere Primus is Ampere’s flagship electric scooter and is perfect for the multi-use needs of any Indian home. In terms of specs, the Ampere Primus RCB Edition features a 3.4 kW PMS electric motor and claims a 0-40 kmph sprint in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 77 kmph. The scooter is equipped with an LFP battery pack that guarantees a lifetime of 100,000 kilometers. The battery provides a range of 107 kilometers on a single charge and can be fully charged in five hours. Other features include three riding modes, combined braking and 22-litre storage capacity.
