Sachin Tendulkar is known for his passion for sports and racing. The Master Blaster was seen at the Formula E Grand Prix in Hyderabad on 11th February, along with many other stars and celebrities, and the ace cricketer was also seen taking the Pininfarina Battista all-electric hypercar for a spin. Sachin praised the car for its extremely powerful performance and on-board technology. The Hyderabad Formula E GP marks the Indian debut of the Pininfarina Battista, which was showcased at the event alongside Mahindra’s other pure electric vehicle offerings.
He says Pininfarina Battista is the perfect answer to that question. “Is electric cars the future?” Sachin said after taking the supercar for a spin, which was like defying time and landing in the future. He also praised Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra and his team for developing such a cutting-edge, world-class vehicle. For information, Pininfarina is owned by the Mahindra Group. “Pininfarina Battista on “Are electric cars the future?” “Given the perfect answer. Anand Mahindra replied to Sachin that this is a great catchphrase for Pininfarina Battista. He also says this makes the car a master blaster on wheels. “You just gave us a great #Battista Sachin tagline. A car that ‘challenges time and lands you in the future’! Wow! That makes it a Master Blaster on wheels. So glad to have you with us today Together,” Mahindra wrote in his tweet.
Besides Sachin Tendulkar, several other Indian cricketers were also present at the event, including Shikhar Dhawan and Yuzvendra Chahal. Additionally, film personalities including Nagarjuna, Ram Charan and Malayalam actor Durquel Salman were also present at the event.
