Ather Energy has announced ‘Ather Electric December’, a month-long program offering its customers, for the first time ever, generous benefits, financing options and exchange programs.The manufacturer also offers an extended battery warranty ¥1. Otherwise, the car owner will have to buy an extended battery ¥6,999. The battery pack will be covered for an additional two years, bringing the total warranty to five years. This is an introductory limited-time offer only available to customers purchasing the Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus in December 2022.
Ather has also launched a financing scheme in partnership with IDFC Bank, offering a term of 48 months. The down payment is as low as 5%, the annual interest rate is 8.5%, zero handling fee, instant loan approval within 45 minutes, EMI is very easy to afford. There is also an exchange program that enables customers to exchange their petrol scooters through their retail partners. Customers can then adjust the trade-in value based on their down payment on the Ather 450X. Consumers will enjoy an exchange value reward of INR 4,000 and instant on-site valuation.

Ather currently also has its own charging network called “Ather Grid”. As of now, customers who purchase 450X and 450 Plus this month can use Ather Grid for free until December 31, 2023. Ather Grid offers fast charging facilities with a rated speed of 1.5 km/min. Currently, there are more than 700 Ather Grid locations across India.
The company recently launched a second manufacturing facility in Hosur. The manufacturing facility will help the company expand its production capacity to 420,000 units per year while ensuring quality. Ather Energy plans to strengthen its retail business by expanding into new markets. The company plans to expand to about 150 experience centers in 100 cities by March 2023. It’s also investing heavily in charging infrastructure to provide a holistic experience for the rider community. The company recently achieved the milestone of installing over 700 fast charging stations across the country and plans to install 1,400 Ather Grids by the end of FY23 to support the growth of the EV industry and facilitate a hassle-free transition to EVs.
