Audi India will officially launch the Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback in India on August 18. Aimed at being positioned by the Germans as a premium all-electric, all-luxury model, the Q8 e-tron will replace the e-tron, Audi’s first EV in India.

The Audi Q8 e-tron EV has several updates to its drive technology that are said to improve not only performance but also range and charging times. The Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback are essentially the same model, but the Sportback has a swept-back roofline that helps it have a better coefficient of drag.
The design highlights of the Audi Q8 e-tron include a blackened grille on the front face, a new monochromatic two-dimensional “Audi” logo, an updated front bumper design (with larger air intakes on both sides), a redesigned rear bumper, etc. In terms of interior, the Audi Q8 e-tron is equipped with a number of configurations, including a 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen audio system, ventilated front seats with massage and memory functions, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and a 10.1-inch display with main information The entertainment screen, a second screen below it for controlling the HVAC, etc.
But the most significant update is the larger 114 kWh battery pack, which is good for more than 500 kilometers per charge. The battery powers the dual-motor setup, which makes 408 horsepower and 664 Nm of torque in this model. The Q8 e-tron also comes with Quattro all-wheel drive.
