Electric vehicles are picking up pace now, both in terms of sales figures and popularity. Even if a person does not buy a new electric car, there is a good chance that he will now think about it before buying a new car. As of now, Tata Motors is leading the EV race in India as their lineup of EVs is the largest. However, other manufacturers are also slowly entering the EV space. Considering that the Auto Expo is just around the corner, many manufacturers will take the opportunity to showcase their new electric vehicles. Here are five electric vehicles to expect to see at the 2023 Auto Expo.
Tata Bunch EV
Nexon EV has been very successful in the Indian market. It was followed by Tigor EV and Tiago EV in the Indian market. However, it is the electric version of the Punch that people have been eagerly awaiting. Tata Motors will showcase the Punch EV at Auto Expo 2023. The Punch EV is expected to go on sale by the end of 2023.
Kia EV9 concept car
Kia will showcase the EV9 concept car at the 2023 Auto Expo. The production-spec SUV will soon be available in global markets, as test vehicles of the electric SUV have already made several appearances in foreign markets. The EV9 is unlikely to be launched in the Indian market anytime soon.

Maruti Suzuki EV SUV
Maruti Suzuki may be late to the EV space, but they have finally announced that they will be showing a new electric SUV concept at the 2023 Auto Expo. It is expected to be based on the electric skateboard platform, with a production-spec version expected to be available by 2025.
MG Air EV
After the success of the ZS EV, MG is developing a new EV for the Indian market. It’s a compact electric car designed for urban tasks. It is based on the Wuling Air EV. It will go up against the Tata Tiago EV.
Hyundai Ioniq 5
Hyundai was the first manufacturer to launch an electric four-wheeler in the Indian market, they entered the market with the Kona Electric but failed to gain enough sales. However, now the manufacturer will launch the Ioniq 5 as its flagship model in the Indian market.
