Auto Expo 2023: Tata Sierra EV scheduled for 2025 production

As the automaker has hinted, the Tata Sierra EV concept shown at the 2023 Auto Expo will spawn a production model without any major changes. In this case, we are about to see premium stylish EVs from India’s largest EV brand, which currently commands more than 85% market share in the segment.

Talking about the design, the Tata Sierra EV has an elegant and clean design that is both attractive and premium. At the front, the EV’s nose has a sleek LED light strip that runs the width of the car. The front bumper has been significantly revised and now features a larger black panel than before. The LED backlit brand logo is placed in the center for a more traditional look. It also hints at a chunky skid plate.

Moving to the side profile, the big wheels feature a revised design that looks more striking than before. The black side cladding is the same as before. However, the greenhouse area has a revised design. The black roof and split exterior make the greenhouse area appear larger than before. This will result in a more premium, airy and spacious feel to occupants in the cabin. The A panels have been completely blacked out, while the rear pillars also have a partially blacked-out look. Moving back, the EV gets sleek LED taillights that add to its sleek look.

While the auto brand has revealed the EV’s exterior and interior, or at least given us a preview of what it might look like inside, powertrain and specification details have yet to be revealed.
