Auto Expo 2023 will be dominated by electric vehicles in the two-wheeler segment. About 90 percent of launches and unveilings were electric, with a handful powered by internal combustion engines. While big companies are choosing to keep a low profile, now is the time for startups to shine.
So if you’re headed to the 2023 Auto Expo this weekend, take note below of our top five picks from the two-wheeler segment that you should keep an eye out for.

1. Toque Kratos X
The New York Kratos X is based on the top-spec Kratos R, but has been significantly upgraded as the range’s new flagship. Changes include a new aluminum swingarm, an Android-based 7-inch digital console, winglets, fast charging and a new, faster FF mode. Deliveries of the Kratos X will begin in June this year.

2. Moto Bologna Passione (MBP) brand launch
Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) has expanded its growing range of premium motorcycles with the launch of a new brand, Moto Bologna Passione (MBP). MBP, part of the QJ Group, will be bringing its new range of Italian bikes to India. The company showcased the M502N middleweight streetfighter and the C1002V premium cruiser at the expo, both of which are due later this year.

3. Liger Mobility Self Balancing Scooter
Mumbai-based EV startup Liger Mobility has unveiled a new innovation in the form of its new self-balancing scooter. The AutoBalancing system was developed in-house to help the rider balance the scooter at low speeds or when stationary. Liger is expected to start production later this year.

4. Amp Primus
Greaves Cotton unveiled its new brand identity and unveiled its new Primus electric scooter at Auto Expo 2023. The new product is equipped with a 4 kW electric motor and a 3 kWh battery pack, can reach a top speed of 77 kmph, and can travel 100 km on a single charge. Pricing for Primus will be announced shortly.

5. Ultraviolet F99
Following the recent launch of the F77 high-performance electric motorcycle, Ultraviolette has unveiled the F99 electric racing platform, which will form the basis of its new racing series. The startup has upgraded the motor, controller and battery to help extract 65 bhp and a top speed of 200 kmph. It also features adjustable ergonomics, carbon composite parts for weight savings, winglets and slick tires. The knowledge learned from the racing will be used in the company’s future launches.
