Bajaj Auto Limited discontinued the Pulsar 220F last year. However, motorcycles appear to be ready for a comeback as dealers begin to receive the new product. Some dealerships are also starting to take pre-orders for the new motorcycles, with deliveries expected to start in the next few weeks. The reason for bringing back the Pulsar 220F is unclear.
There could be two reasons for the relaunch of the Pulsar 220F in the Indian market. Either way, it’s still in pretty good demand, so it makes sense for the manufacturer to bring it back. Another reason may be that the performance of the new generation Pulsar 250 is not as good as Bajaj thinks. The Pulsar 220F was discontinued in the Indian market as the Pulsar F250 and N250 were considered to be the successors of the 220F.

Bajaj Auto does not expect to make major changes to the Pulsar 220F. Before the motorcycle was discontinued, it was BS6 compliant. So the brand just needs to work on making it OBD2 compliant.
The engine on duty is a 220 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected unit with air-oil cooling. It produces 20.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque output of 18.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The duty transmission is a 5-speed transmission.

Meanwhile, the latest Pulsar launched by Bajaj is the Pulsar P150. It is the most affordable new generation Pulsar in the Bajaj line. It uses a new frame and a new engine, already running on the Pulsar N160 and Pulsar 250 Twins.The motorcycle comes in two variants, one is single disc and costs ¥117,000, then double discs, the price is ¥120000. Both prices are ex-showroom prices.
