Pulsar has achieved great success for Bajaj Auto in the Indian market. As of now, there are three generations of Pulsars on sale in India. There is the old generation Pulsar, the KTM based Pulsar NS and the new generation Pulsars based on a brand new platform. Now, the NS series of Pulsars is about to be upgraded.
The manufacturer posted a teaser on their social media showing the Pulsar NS200 with USD or inverted forks and dual-channel ABS. Apart from that, Bajaj could also add some new colorways to the Pulsar NS200. The brand already sells the Pulsar NS200 in Brazil, which comes with USD forks and dual-channel ABS. However, it is known as the Dominar 200 in the Brazilian market.
The USD forks are expected to measure 33mm, just like the forks on Brazilian-spec motorcycles. The dollar fork should help improve stability and give the rider better feedback. Then came the addition of a dual-channel anti-lock braking system. This should help with the safety factor, as braking distances may be shorter if the wheels are not locked.

Motorbike engines are also supposed to be updated in line with the BS6 Stage 2 standards that will come into effect on April 1. The 200 cc single cylinder engine is taken from the KTM Duke 200. It produces 24.13 bhp and 18.74 Nm. The duty transmission is a six-speed unit.
Bajaj Auto is also likely to update the Pulsar NS160. Bajaj already sells the Pulsar NS160 as the Dominar 160 in the Brazilian market. In addition, this motorcycle is equipped with an inverted front fork. Once launched, the prices of the updated Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200 will increase from the current price.
