BMW Motorrad has teased the launch of their first electric scooter in India. The manufacturer will launch the CE 04 electric scooter to the Indian market on December 10 or 11 in Delhi. BMW Motorrad has launched the CE 04 in global markets, and in the US, the BMW CE 04 starts at $11,795. As of now, it is not known how much the CE 04 will cost when it launches in the Indian market.
As an electric scooter, what everyone cares most about is the cruising range. Based on the WMTC cycle, BMW Motorrad claims a range of 129 kilometers or 80 miles. The battery pack takes 4 hours and 20 minutes to charge from 0-100% and 3 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0-80%. The fast charger takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%, while it can charge from 0% to 80% in 1 hour and 5 minutes.

BMW Motorrad uses a liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor. It is rated at 19.72 bhp. The electric motor has a maximum power output of 41.4 bhp at 4,900 rpm and a peak torque output of 61 Nm at 1,500 rpm.
The top speed of the electric scooter is limited to 120 km/h, which is quite fast for an electric scooter. The BMW CE 04 accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. The scooter has three riding modes, Eco, Rain and Road.
There’s an LED headlamp, 10.25″ TFT display, includes BMW Motorrad Connectivity, keyless ride, ABS, ASC, electronic reverse and ventilated storage compartment with USB C. There are also features and accessories sold as options.
