Ducati India has launched the Panigale V4 R in the Indian market $69.9 million ex-showroom, India. Pre-orders for the motorcycle are now open at all Ducati dealers. The first batch of 5 bikes has arrived in India, all sold out and deliveries are starting immediately. The Panigale V4 R is one of several products the manufacturer plans to launch in 2023. The Panigale V4 R is a higher specification version of the standard Panigale V4. It received several mechanical upgrades and a new livery.
At the heart of the Panigale V4 R is the new 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R. It has a redline of 16,500 rpm in sixth gear and is limited to 16,000 rpm in other gears. The engine is capable of producing 215 bhp at 15,500 rpm and a peak torque output of 111.3 Nm at 12,000 rpm. It’s paired to a six-speed transmission with two-way quickshifter.
When fitted with a full racing exhaust, power rises to 233 bhp at 15,500 rpm and peak torque output rises to 118 Nm at 12,250 rpm. The racing exhaust reduces the dry weight from 172kg to 167kg.

Suspension duties are handled by a 43mm Ohlins NPX 25/30 fork up front and an Ohlins TTX 36 rear monoshock. Both are fully adjustable. Braking duties are performed by two 320mm discs at the front and Brembo Monobloc Stylema M4.30 calipers with four pistons, and a single 245mm rotor with two-piston calipers at the rear.
Being a Ducati, there is an exhaustive electronic kit list. The Panigale V4 R is equipped with Traction Control, Ride-by-Wire, Riding Modes, Engine Brake Control, Power Modes, Cornering ABS, Launch Control, Wheelie Control, Slip Control and more. A TFT screen is also available, which can be used to control various functions of the motorcycle.
