Italian motorcycle brand Ducati has launched two limited-edition Panigale V4 sports bikes to celebrate the twin MotoGP and WorldSBK championship victories. They are called Panigale V4 Bagnaia 2022 World Champion Replica and Panigale V4 Bautista 2022 World Champion Replica. Only 260 of each will be produced by the manufacturer, and each bike will be made unique by the rider’s original signature on the tank.
These special series feature the same livery, certificates of authenticity, special technical equipment and boxes as the bikes that Bagnaia and Bautista won in MotoGP and WorldSBK.
The Ducati Panigale V4 Special Edition has several panels made of carbon fibre.
Like the competition bikes, the special edition of the Panigale V4 World Champion Replica bike is only available in single-seater configuration and is enhanced by a billet aluminum upper clamp with laser-engraved model name and progressive numbering. Mechanical upgrades include the adoption of a nine-plate STM-EVO SBK dry clutch. There’s also an Akrapovič street-legal exhaust, which is 2kg lighter than the Panigale V4’s stock unit. Furthermore, the motorcycle is equipped with Brembo brakes with Stylema R calipers and the master cylinder is from MCS with remote adjuster. Finally, there are Rizoma billet aluminum adjustable footpegs and racing plexiglass.
Several parts of motorcycles are now made of carbon fiber. As such, the rear exhaust manifold heat shield, alternator cover, front and rear fenders and front brake ducts are all made of carbon fiber. The single swingarm is now made of carbon fiber bonded to titanium.

As of now, it is unclear whether the special edition will make its way to India. The 2022 Ducati Panigale V4 range has been launched in India. There are three motorcycles, V4, V4 S and V4 SP2. V4 sells for ¥2.649 million, V4 S cost ¥3.199 million, the price of V4 SP2 is ¥40.99 lakhs. All prices are ex-showroom prices. The brand recently launched DesertX ADV in the Indian market.
