The upcoming Lectrix electric scooter will be feature-rich and expected to compete in the Rs 1-1.5 lakh (ex-showroom) segment of premium scooters

The camouflaged test mule of the upcoming Lectrix electric scooter reveals little in terms of design, but you do get to see LED daytime running lights and LED headlights. The upcoming product appears to be a family-oriented electric scooter that should appeal to a wider range of buyers. That said, the Lectrix EV will be feature-rich, including a number of segment firsts and a host of technologies.

The upcoming electric scooters will offer premium hardware and software at a very low cost. The model is expected to come with emergency assist, smart ignition and an auto-cancellation indicator light. The Ather 450X rival may also come with navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and more. The company has carried out more than 125,000 kilometers of technical and practical testing on the model and has received iCAT approval.

Specifications of the Lectrix electric scooter have not yet been announced, but the electric scooter is expected to have a range of more than 100 kilometers on a single charge. The company is also working on battery management systems (BMS) for electric scooters to optimize thermal performance. When the battery temperature rises, the electric scooter will automatically reduce the speed.

Lectrix EV will start its EV journey with a premium electric scooter featuring products from Ather Energy, Vida, Ola Electric and more. More details on the upcoming e-scooters, along with their pricing and availability, will be announced by the end of this month.
