Hero MotoCorp on Monday announced the launch of its Super Splendor XTEC in India, which comes with a host of styling updates and advanced connectivity features. The Hero Super Splendor XTEC is available in two different models priced at ¥Drum brake models are 83,368, while disc brake models are priced at ¥87,268 (ex-showroom, Derry).
The home-grown two-wheeler maker claims the new Hero Super Splendor XTEC has been updated keeping the needs of younger buyers in mind. It is said to feature strong styling, connectivity and convenience. As stated by Hero MotoCorp in its official release, these tech-heavy features are said to enhance its usefulness and appeal. It is the latest addition to the two-wheeler manufacturer’s comprehensive range in the 125 cc segment.

The all-new Super Splendor XTEC features LED headlights with high-intensity locator lights, fully digital speedometer with low fuel indicator, service reminders, malfunction indicators and more. Additionally, it features Bluetooth connectivity with call and text message alerts. The 125 cc commuter motorcycle features two-tone stripes for enhanced style. It has an integrated USB charger, allowing riders to charge mobile devices on the go, while a side-mounted engine cut-off adds to overall safety.
Mechanically, the motorcycle is the same as before. The Hero Super Splendor XTEC is powered by a 1255 cc BS6 engine that returns a mileage of 68 kmmpl. It produces 10.7 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The motorcycle is equipped with the company’s i3S start-stop system.
Speaking about the motorcycle’s launch, Hero MotoCorp Chief Growth Officer (CGO) Ranjivjit Singh said the updated Super Splendor XTEC will redefine the 125 cc segment. “Hero MotoCorp has brought the most cutting-edge, technologically advanced XTEC product range to its motorcycle and scooter portfolio and has created a unique place among cycling enthusiasts in the country. And, with the Super Splendor in the XTEC avatar With the launch of the 125cc segment, we aim to redefine the experience in the 125cc segment. We believe a new version of our iconic Super Splendor will add to the growing appeal of our XTEC line of two-wheelers. With this product, we are showing our customers A complete package, it scores high on connectivity, convenience and design,” he said.
