Hero MotoCorp is kicking in the new year with a new scooter in its lineup. The company will launch the Maestro Xoom 110 scooter tomorrow, January 30, 2023. The model will feature a host of upgrades and new features over the standard version. A Maestro Xoom version was first spotted last September, hinting at a festive launch, but the company decided to keep the model for 2023.
The Hero Maestro Xoom is expected to feature a new face with H-shaped LED DRLs, new LED headlights, and even new X-shaped LED taillights. Other upgrades expected include a new digital instrument console that may integrate smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/text alerts. The model will sit above the standard Maestro Edge 110 scooter and will likely feature 12-inch alloy wheels with front disc brakes. The scooter will likely be offered in three variants.

Power will come from a familiar 110 cc single-cylinder engine with XSens fuel injection technology producing 8 bhp at 7,250 rpm and peak torque of 8.7 Nm at 5,750 rpm. The motor will be paired with a CVT unit. Suspension duties are likely handled by the familiar telescopic forks up front and hydraulic dampers at the rear. Braking performance will feature a disc and drum brake setup with combined braking.
Notably, India’s most popular ICE scooter, the Honda Activa 6G 110, was recently upgraded with a new high-end H-Smart variant. That said, the Hero Maestro Xoom will be a sportier offering and compete with the Honda Dio in this segment.Hero is expected to remain price-competitive with the launch, and the scooter could be priced between ¥75,000-80,000 (ex-showroom), on par with the competition.
