Hero MotoCorp has quietly relaunched the Passion Plus in the Indian market.its price is ¥76,301 (ex-showroom). At this price, the Passion Plus slots in between the Splendor Plus and the Splendor Plus Xtec. Passion has always been popular among commuter motorcycles. With an update, the manufacturer adds some features to the motorcycle. Hero Passion Plus will take on Bajaj Platina and Honda Shine.

The motorcycle now comes with features like i3s technology, which cuts the engine after a few seconds when it’s in neutral. Once the rider engages the clutch, the engine kicks in. Also on the left handlebar is a sidestand indicator light and a USB port for charging mobile devices. In addition, there is a digital-analog instrument cluster. The fuel and trip gauges are displayed in a digital layout, while the speedometer is an analog unit.
Hero MotoCorp offers the Passion Plus in three color schemes. Available in Sports Red, Black Nexus Blue, and powering the Hero Passion Plus is a 97.2 cc single-cylinder engine that is fuel injected. It is capable of producing 7.91 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 8.05 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It is equipped with a 4-speed gearbox.

The twin-cradle frame is suspended by telescopic forks at the front and twin-tube shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are performed by 130 mm discs at the front and rear. Motorcycles have both self-starters and starters. It comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 80/100 R18 tubeless tyres.
In terms of size, Passion Plus is 1,982mm long, 1,087mm high, and 770mm wide. The seat height is 790mm and the ground clearance is 168mm. The motorcycle has a curb weight of 115 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters.
