Hero MotoCorp recently launched the 2023 Xtreme 160R 4V for the Indian market. The manufacturer made quite a few upgrades in previous iterations. As a result, the motorcycle will be able to compete better in this field. It now gets cosmetic and mechanical upgrades. Here are five things to know about the 2023 Xtreme 160R 4V.

Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Cosmetic changes
Hero made some cosmetic changes to the motorcycle to make it look more modern and more muscular than before. The fuel tank is stronger than before, and the redesigned LED headlights are lower than before. The motorcycle now comes with split seats, with the option of a single piece. The motorcycle will be sold in three colors – Blazing Sport Red, Matt Slate Black and Neon Meteor.
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Improved engine
The Xtreme 160 4V’s engine is also new. It now has a 4-valve head, which means power and torque figures have gone up. It develops a peak torque output of 16.6 bhp and 14.6 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The duty transmission is a 5-speed unit.
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Hardware update
The Xtreme 160R 4V now gets new suspension components that are even more premium than before. It uses 37mm upside-down forks from KYB at the front, and a preload-adjustable 7-stage monoshock at the rear.

Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Features
In terms of features, the Xtreme 160R 4V gets all LED lighting, new switchgear and a new inverted digital instrument cluster, which gets Bluetooth connectivity via Hero Connect 2.0.
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Price and Models
The Xtreme 160R 4V will be sold in three models – Standard, Connected and Professional.Their price is ¥1,27,300, ¥1,32,800 and ¥1,36,500 respectively. All prices are ex-showroom prices.
