Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xtreme 200S 4 Valve variant in India, priced at $141,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V joins the recently launched Xtreme 160R 4V with four-valve technology, bringing even more power and capability to this complete motorcycle.The new four-valve version is approximately $That’s $6,000 more than the Xtreme 200S two-valve currently on sale.

The new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V draws its power from an updated 200 cc four valve, single cylinder, oil cooled engine with fuel injection. The four-valve engine now develops 18.8 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 17.35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The motor now has 6 percent more power and 5 percent more torque than its predecessor. According to the company, it comes with the same 5-speed gearbox, but optimized for better traction and acceleration, as well as better strength and durability.

In terms of upgrades, the 2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V now features a new split handlebar for added comfort on long rides. There’s also a new rear tire hugger. The bike is equipped with dual LED headlights with LED DRLs, and LED taillights with light guides for a signature look. The bike also features Bluetooth connectivity and features such as route navigation and call/text alerts, paired with an LCD instrument console.

The Xtreme 200S 4V continues to use the front telescopic fork, unlike the Xtreme 160R 4V which uses a USD fork. The rear is equipped with 7-stage adjustable single shock absorbers and 130 mm wide radial rear tires. Xtreme 200S 4V continues to be equipped with single-channel ABS as standard. This fully streamlined motorcycle is available in two-tone colors – Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic and Stealth. The bike competes with the Suzuki Gixxer SF and Yamaha R15 S at the same price point.
