Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched a new variant of the Activa 6G that comes with their H-Smart technology. It is the new high-end variant of Activa.Scooters start at ¥74,536 (ex-showroom). Activa is already the most popular scooter in the Indian market.
The new Honda Activa H-Smart scooter is available in three trims at different prices.Interior options are Standard, Luxury and Smart, priced at ¥74,536, ¥77,036 and ¥80,537 (ex-showroom) respectively. The Honda Activa H-Smart scooter is said to have five new patented technology applications.

The manufacturer claims the scooter has a smart find feature that responds when the user tries to locate it using the key fob. The smart key allows the rider to lock and unlock the scooter without using a physical key. With this smart key, the engine of the scooter can be started when the vehicle is within two meters of the key. It also has an engine start and stop switch.
The Honda Activa H-Smart has a longer wheelbase, longer pedal area, new overtaking switch and DC LED headlights. Other design elements include a new design for the alloy wheels. The scooter offers a comfortable ride with 12-inch front alloy wheels, telescoping front suspension and adjustable rear suspension.
Honda claims that this new scooter is equipped with many new technologies. It is powered by an OBD2 compliant 110 cc PGM-FI engine. It is also equipped with Enhanced Smart Power Supply (eSP) technology, which ensures linear power generation. New technologies introduced to the Activa scooter include updated programmed fuel injection, enhanced smart rollover technology, ACG starter and reduced friction. These patented technologies claim to increase the efficiency of the powertrain.
