Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has increased the prices of the Activa and Activa 125. Activa has been dominating the Indian market for some time now and it is now the scooter of choice for most households. The price of Activa has increased ¥811 while the price of the Activa 125 has increased ¥1,177. Other than a price adjustment, Honda didn’t make any changes to the scooter.
Activa now starts at ¥75,347 and rises to ¥81,348.On the other hand, the Activa 125 starts at ¥78,920 and rises to ¥86,093. All prices are ex-showroom prices. Interestingly, the price of the high-end Activa 125 H-Smart has not increased.it’s cost ¥88,093 (ex-showroom).
Besides that, Honda recently removed the 6G label from its Activa 110. It will now simply be called the Honda Activa. The “G” label was introduced with the Activa 3G in 2015. The name of the Activa 125 has not changed.
Powering the Honda Activa is a 109 cc single cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces a maximum power of 7.73 bhp and a peak torque of 8.90 Nm. Activa competes with TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access, Yamaha Ray ZR and Hero Pleasure Plus
The Honda Activa 125 uses a 124 cc air-cooled engine that produces 8.19 bhp of power and 10.4 Nm of peak torque. It competes with the Suzuki Access 125, Yamaha Fascino 125, TVS Jupiter 125 and Hero Destini 125.

The latest offering from Honda in the Indian market is the Shine 100. The manufacturer re-entered the 100 cc market after almost a decade. Honda has started sending the Shine 100 to its dealers. This affordable new motorcycle will compete with the likes of Bajaj Platina, Hero HF Deluxe, Hero Splendor Plus and TVS Radeon.
