Honda has confirmed that they are developing a dedicated EV platform. The new EV platform will result in “mid-to-large” models. The new EV model will be sold on the global market in 2025. The information was announced by Honda’s president in a speech on the company’s future. As of now, it is not certain whether the new EV will make its way to the Indian market.

As of now, Honda hasn’t revealed much about the new platform. However, they plan to launch electrified versions of the Acura ZDX and Prologue in 2024. Both cars will use GM’s Ultium platform. Both manufacturers plan to continue their collaboration by launching affordable vehicles. The new cars will start rolling out in 2027.
The production plant in North America will become Honda’s EV production center. China will get several new electric cars. The e:NS2 and e:NP2 will be launched in early 2024. A production version of the e:N SUV concept will also be launched in late 2024. In addition to this, seven electric vehicles will be launched by 2027.
