Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India is currently working on expanding its 350 cc lineup in the Indian market. The new motorcycle could be launched before Diwali in 2023. However, it is important to note that the project has not yet been approved by Honda Japan. The motorcycle will be based on the same platform as the H’ness CB350 and CB350RS currently sold in the Indian market.

Honda has introduced a new accessory kit for the H'ness CB350 and CB350RS. There are also two Cafe Racer kits, one for each motorcycle.
Honda has introduced a new accessory kit for the H’ness CB350 and CB350RS. There are also two Cafe Racer kits, one for each motorcycle.

The H’ness CB350 is a vintage motorcycle that can be customized as a cruiser and cafe racer, as Honda now offers a Genuine Accessory Kit. The CB350 RS, on the other hand, is a pseudo-scrambler that can also be turned into a cafe racer thanks to the kit.

So, as of now, it’s unclear what the new 350 cc motorcycle will be. It could be a cruiser like the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. If this is the case, then the new motorcycle will also go up against the Yezdi Roadster.

Because the new motorcycle will be based on the same platform as the H’ness and CB350RS, the engine will be shared. It will be a 350 cc single cylinder engine producing 21 bhp at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque output of 30 Nm at 3,000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with relatively high gearing. It is possible that Honda will re-tune the engine for the new motorcycle.

As of now, it is unclear whether the new motorcycle will have a lower or higher displacement than the current 350 cc bike. Speaking of positioning, the H’ness CB350 is currently available in two models. DLX with cost ¥209,000, while the price of DLX Pro is ¥212,000. The DLX Pro is also sold in a chrome color scheme for ¥214,000. The CB350RS is priced between ¥205,000 and ¥218,000. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom prices.
