The Hyderabad City Police issued a traffic congestion warning ahead of the inaugural Hyderabad Electronics Grand Prix, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 10, 2023. The Hyderabad e-Prix is being held on city streets and as with the Formula E format, many roads will be closed to accommodate the race. This bulletin applies to February 10-12.

1. During this period, traffic from Iqbal Minar Junction to Telugu Talli Junction and Tankbund will be diverted to Telugu Thalli Interchange towards Katta Maisamma Temple.
2. Traffic heading to Necklace Road Imax Rotary from BuddaBhavan Junction will be diverted at Nallagutta Junction.
3. Traffic from Rasoolpura via Nallagutta to Necklace Rotary will turn to Ranigunj at Nallagutta junction.
4. Vehicles going from VW Statue to Khairatabad Interchange will not be allowed to proceed to Necklace Rotary and will turn to Shadan College at VW Statue.
5. Traffic from Tankbund/Telugu Thalli to Necklace Rotary will divert to Iqbal Minar at Telugu Thalli Junction.
6. Traffic from BRKR Bhavan to Necklace Rotary will divert to Telugu Thalli junction to Iqbal Minar.
7. Traffic from Iqbal Minar junction going to Minte multiplex will turn to Ravindra Bharathi junction.
8. Traffic going from Khairatabad Bada Ganesh driveway to Printing Press junction or Necklace Rotary will turn to Rajdooth driveway.

The Hyderabad Electric Grand Prix in the city center will be held on the banks of Hussain Sagar Lake. The 2.835km track winds through Lumbini Park with 18 corners. The Hyderabad Grand Prix marks the fourth round of the Formula E championship’s ninth season, following the Mexico City opener and the Dreyer double.
