The Kia EV5 concept previews a looking all-electric SUV heavily influenced by the Kia EV9 that will launch in China later in 2023.
The front profile looks identical to the EV9, with closed panels replacing the conventional radiator grille, sleek LED headlights and blunt-nosed sections at the extreme corners.
The side profile of the EV Concept looks clean with minimal creases, large asymmetrically designed wheels sit under black wheel arches, and a floating roof enhances its visual appeal.
The rear profile of the Kia EV5 Concept features sleek C-shaped LED taillights that cover almost the entire width of the tailgate, while chunky skid plates can also be seen.
Half of the dashboard is covered by a sleek and floating dashboard infotainment screen, which is complemented by an octagonal steering wheel with minimal buttons.
Equipped with the same swivel seats as the Kia EV9, the car offers a lounge-like ambience.
There’s no traditional center console between the front seats, instead the EV5 has a storage space in front of the seats that makes the front row look like a bench.
The cabin features a large panoramic sunroof that is said to function as a solar panel, but its function has not been revealed yet.
