The Maserati Tipo Folgore Formula E race car will play a key role in the development of the automaker’s all-electric Folgore road car range.

The Maserati Tipo Folgore will mark the brand’s Formula E debut in 2023, returning to single-seater racing after 60 years.
The Maserati Tipo Folgore will mark any Italian marque’s first participation in Formula E, with a livery that references the Italian flag tricolor that flanks the bulkhead.
Edoardo Mortara and Max Guenther will compete in Formula E next year with the Maserati MSG team.
The Maserati Tipo Folgore will make its track debut during the official pre-season testing period from December 13th to 16th.
The Maserati Tipo Folgore race car is powered by a 469 hp twin electric motor unit and a new generation battery pack, allowing it to reach a top speed of 320 km/h.
