Indian Navy joins hands with TVS to head to Ladakh on Apache motorcycle

As part of the celebration of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the Indian Navy joined hands with TVS Motors to mark the 76th anniversary of India’s Independence. As part of this collaboration, 34 riders from the Indian Navy will travel to Ladakh on TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycles, covering a distance of 5,600 km.

The Indian Navy, in partnership with TVS Motors, is celebrating the 76th anniversary of Indian Independence and as part of the festivities, 34 riders representing the Armed Forces will travel to Ladakh on TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycles.

In an official press release, the home-grown two-wheeler maker said the partnership and the trip of Indian Navy personnel to Ladakh will focus on raising awareness about the country’s naval power. The 28-day trek from New Delhi on June 15 will traverse the remote areas and rugged terrain of Ladakh, the two-wheeler brand said.

Riders of the Indian Navy’s motorcycle team “Sea Knights” took part in the expedition, which will pass through Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar, Kargil and Nubra Valley before reaching Leh. The ride is designed to culminate on July 12 at the National War Memorial.
