Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) will start deliveries of Keeway SR 250 vintage style motorcycles in the country from 17 June 2023. The Hyderabad-based two-wheeler company has launched the SR 250 at the Auto Expo 2023 and the bike is finally getting ready for customer deliveries. AARI has also announced plans to assemble the SR range locally in India by the end of the year.
The Keeway SR 250 is a competitor to the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin 225 and will join its little brother the Keeway SR 125 in the market.The entry price for this bike is ¥149,000 (ex-showroom). To make the model more attractive. AARI announced special programs including a lucky draw for the first 500 SR 250s to be delivered.

5 out of 500 lucky customers will receive 100% cashback on the pre-showroom price. The company will also launch the “My SR My Way” platform, allowing customers to personalize the SR 250 and SR 125 with custom colors. The platform will be available to new buyers from September 2023 and will be built to order.
In addition, AARI is planning a range of accessories for the SR series, including front sun visors, fenders, backrests, shin guards, saree guards, seat covers, fuel tank covers and armrests. An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) will also be in place this September. The package will include discounts on oil, spare parts, accessories and labor charges (except accidents), as well as price protection labor rate revisions. Keeway motorcycles are sold through the same outlets as Benelli, which has a network of 55 showrooms across the country.

The Keeway SR 250 is powered by a 223 cc air cooled single cylinder engine tuned for 15.78 bhp and 16 Nm of peak torque and mated to a 5 speed gearbox. Simple construction will appeal to buyers who prefer vintage bikes. The SR 250 rides on 17-inch spoked wheels with telescopic forks at the front and dual shocks at the rear. The bike has a 300mm front disc and a 210mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The Keeway SR 250 weighs just 120kg, which should have a decent power-to-weight ratio for a motorcycle. It also comes with a 14.5 liter fuel tank. Other features include an LCD digital console, LED headlights, dual purpose tires and a satin stainless steel exhaust. The bike is available in three colors – Gloss White, Gloss Red and Gloss Black.
