Electric car maker Komaki has launched an updated version of its SE range of electric scooters with more range and premium features. The range consists of three models – Eco, Sport and Sport Performance Upgrade. The SE Eco scooter is priced at ¥96968, SE Sport has been priced ¥1,29,938 with SE Sport Performance Upgrade ¥1,38,427 (all prices are ex-showroom).
The Komaki SE range of electric scooters is now equipped with a LiFePO4 smart battery, which is app-based and fire-resistant for added safety. These can be squeezed to 100% in as little as four to five hours.

The scooters now also feature dual disc brakes and a new LED DRL design for a sleeker look. In terms of range, the Eco now has a range of 75-90km, the Sport 110-140km, and the SE Sport performance plus 150-180km per charge.
The Komaki SE range comes with features like LED front flashers, 3000W hub motors, 50 AMP controller, park assist, cruise control and reverse assist. Other features on board include a TFT screen with on-board navigation, sound system, mobile calling options and a ready-to-ride function.
These scooters have three gear modes – Eco, Sport and Turbo. They have a boot space of 20 liters. Some of the advanced features of these scooters include key fob keyless entry and control and anti-skid technology.
The SE Eco’s speed limit remains at 55 to 60 km/h, while the SE Sport and SE Sport Performance Upgrade remain at 75 to 80 km/h. “The new Komaki SE is the perfect vehicle for city sprints and big touring,” said Gunjan Malhotra, director of Komaki’s electric division.
