Adventure travelers are the new hot segment, selling very well globally. The main reason behind this is that ADVs are versatile, they can cruise on the highway, some of them can also go off-road, and commuting. KTM has become very popular in India and the most affordable ADV they have in the Indian market is the 250 Adventure. It targets the Benelli TRK 251 directly. Here is a comparison between the two.

KTM 250 Adventure vs. Benelli TRK 251: The exterior

In terms of appearance, the TRK 251 features an ADV-like fairing, split headlight setup, windshield and front beak. It does have some design elements from its big brother, the TRK 502.

The 250 Adventure looks like a stripped-down version of the 390 Adventure. It has a flat headlight at the front, sharp but straight body panels, knuckle guards and a minimal rear end.

In terms of features, the 250 Adventure gets a digital instrument cluster, switchable ABS and halogen headlights with LED daytime running lights. The Benelli comes with a digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights and a rear luggage rack.

KTM 250 Adventure vs Benelli TRK 251: Specifications

Both motorcycles use a liquid-cooled 250 cc engine. The KTM puts out 29.5 bhp of maximum power and 24 Nm of peak torque, while the TRK 251 has a power output of 25.4 bhp and a peak torque of 21.1 Nm.
