LML to open 100 showrooms in India in next two years

Two-wheeler maker LML on Tuesday announced that it will launch a network of 100-strong dealerships in India by the 2024-25 financial year. The company also said it aims to expand its dealer network in stages. Additionally, it claimed that the company plans to roll out standardized outlets for upcoming dealerships that will focus on technology-enabled customer relationship management and sales management frameworks to strengthen its customer value and trust. The introduction of the top 100 dealer network is part of the first phase of the expansion strategy.

Talking about the company’s dealership expansion strategy, LML’s Managing Director and CEO Yogesh Bhatia said that the electric vehicle revolution has received unprecedented support from the Indian government and LML is being pushed to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in different parts of the country. He further added, “Our team is working extensively to recruit suitable dealers who hold a future vision of bringing EVs mainstream in India.”

Talking about its products, the iconic two-wheeler brand has yet to reveal pricing and other details for the LML Star. However, interested buyers can pre-order their e-scooters by visiting the automaker’s official website. The company claims that the upcoming LML Star electric scooter will provide a hassle-free commuting experience. The electric scooter is said to feature LED lights, a 360-degree camera, and haptic feedback. Additionally, it claims the scooter will have an athletic stance, adjustable seating positions, interactive digital displays and light-sensitive headlights, as well as a nimble yet bulky structure.

In addition to the LML Star electric scooter, the company plans to launch at least two more products in the near future. One of them is the LML Orion, an electric superbike. It’s designed to give buyers a light and nimble urban ride. Another model will be the Moonshot, which is expected to be an electric adventure motorcycle. The automaker hasn’t revealed details about it, but promises to provide riders with an extraordinary riding experience.
