A video shared on social media platforms showed two MG Comet EVs driving on MG Highway in Gurgaon on Tuesday. It can now be confirmed that the Comet EV will be available in at least two exterior colors. The two EVs seen in the video feature bright green and white exterior colors. The green one also has a blacked-out roof that hints at the two-tone body color.

Design-wise, the Comet EV has already been shown through images shared by the automaker. The EV will place an LED light bar directly below the windshield and extend the full width. In addition to the taillight units, a light bar can also be seen at the rear. The EV’s flat panel also features LED headlight units and body-coloured bumpers. ORVMS are black. The Comet EV also has a simple profile, with a large rear quarter glass for more visibility. A Comet EV badge can be seen at the rear, which also has body-colored bumpers.

The video also shows the internals of the Comet EV. MG Motor has confirmed that it will feature dual 10.25-inch screens, all digital, for infotainment and instrumentation. The design of the controls mounted on the Comet EV’s steering wheel was inspired by the Apple iPod. In the latest teaser, the automaker revealed that the Comet EV will come with a smart key. The Smart Key will also offer digital key sharing for carrying gadgets.

MG Motor has hinted that the new electric car for India could cost around ¥1 million for people looking for affordable urban commuting options. With the launch of the MG Comet EV, apart from the Citroen E:C3 electric hatchback, the Tata Tiago EV will be its main competitor.
