This is the second edition of the Ather-powered multi-city solo and e-bike ride from Mumbai to Mangalore. Green Ride is an initiative to raise awareness and encourage people to maintain a healthy environment with pollution-free clean air by making the right choices. It aims to promote a sustainable environment, clean air and green energy.
Green Ride 2.0 will run from December 19, 2022 to December 26, 2022. It will cross 10 cities in 8 days, with a total distance of more than 1400 kilometers. The cities covered en route are; Mumbai, Pune, Karad, Kolhapur, Belgaon, Shegaon, Hirebennur, Tumkuru, Mysore, Mangalore. Along his route, Milind will visit solar power plants, plant trees and will work with local NGOs working on sustainable environmental causes along the way.
With the latest update, the Ather 450X Gen 3 is back in the running with other high-speed scooters in the segment, such as the TVS iQube 2022 and the Ola S1 Pro.

This isn’t Milind’s first Green Ride. He also participated in the first iteration in December 2021. Milind Soman has completed a 1,000km bike tour from Mumbai to the nation’s capital to raise awareness about air pollution. He cycled 150km a day, advocating cleaner fuels and a healthy lifestyle to combat pollution.
This time, however, Milind is using the Ather 450X, the manufacturer’s current flagship scooter. The manufacturer launched the third generation of the scooter on the market this year. It now has a TrueRange of 105 km. Available battery capacity is 3.24 kWh. The manufacturer also provided wider tires and a new set of mirrors at the rear.
