Ace music composer and one-half of music duo Vishal-Shekhar, Vishal Dadlani recently received his new Vaan UrbanSport Pro electric bike in Mumbai. The company recently started operations in the city with the launch of the UrbanSport and UrbanSport Pro e-bikes, and Dadlani is one of its first high-profile customers. The UrbanSport Pro is the brand’s flagship product, priced at ¥72,999 (ex-showroom). This electric bike features a compact frame, 20-inch wheels, a removable battery, indicator lights, and more.
The Vaan UrbanSport Pro is equipped with a removable 48-volt 7.5Ah lithium-ion battery pack that provides a range of 60 kilometers on a single charge. This e-bike has a boost mode with five-stage electric gears and a full-throttle mode with a top speed of 25 kilometers per hour. The e-bike features a compact unisex aluminum alloy frame to ensure a lighter curb weight. It also features lightweight alloy wheels, while the forks are from Spinner in the US. The handlebars and saddle are from Benelli, and the headset is from Protek. The e-bike uses Shimano Tourney 7-speed derailleurs. There is also an LCD display showing all essential information. The removable battery fully charges in about four hours.

Vaan Moto e-bikes come with a five-year warranty on the frame and a two-year warranty on the battery, motor, and controller. Other elements have a one-year warranty, excluding consumables. The e-bike comes standard with a portable charger, tool kit and owner’s manual.
Vaan Moto plans to open multiple showrooms across the country outside of Mumbai. The company has signed a dealer agreement with Cosmos Sports to set up nine showrooms and service centers in Kerala. Multi-brand retail outlets will also be opened in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Pondicherry and Andaman. The startup has partnered with Casino Group Hotels, Mahindra Holidays, Le Leela and Zuri Resorts to retail its e-bikes.
