The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have been updated with new LED headlights featuring the Super Meteor 650. The switchgear on the motorcycle has also been updated. The switchgear also carries over from the new switchgear used on the Super Meteor 650, Classic Reborn and Meteor 350.

In addition to this, there is a new USB port which comes in handy when the rider wants to charge mobile devices. There are also new livery. The Interceptor 650 is now available in two new colorways, Black Ray and Barcelona Blue. The Continental GT 650 will get Slipstream Blue and Apex Gray paint schemes. There are also blacked out elements. So, the engine casing, engine head and exhaust pipes are now all blacked out.

However, the most significant change the brand has made is the addition of alloy wheels. Customers have been asking for alloy wheels since the 650 Twins were first introduced. So far, motorcycles have only been offered with spoked rims with tube tires. So, if one gets punctured, it becomes very difficult to repair.

Another update expected is that the motorcycle will now be OBD2 compliant when it launches in the Indian market. It will continue to be powered by the same 648 cc air-oil cooled parallel-twin engine. It will still produce 47 hp and 52 Nm of peak torque. The duty transmission is a 6-speed unit with slipper and auxiliary clutches.
