Ola Electric will be making a series of announcements tomorrow. The brand has been releasing a teaser on its social media. The brand may unveil a new variant of the S1 Air tomorrow along with other announcements. The S1 Air is the most affordable electric scooter in the Ola Electric portfolio. The manufacturer has not yet opened the purchase window for the S1 Air, they are only accepting pre-orders.
Ola Electric said deliveries of the S1 Air will begin in April 2023. The S1 Air is currently ranked behind the S1 and S1 Pro.
The brand claims its 2.47 kWh battery pack can go around 100 kilometers on a single charge. Powering the Ola S1 Air is a 4.5kW electric motor which is said to have a top speed of 90km/h. The S1 Air is much lighter though, at 99kg. It also features telescoping front forks and twin rear shocks, while drum brakes are mounted on both wheels.

The Ola S1 Air continues to feature the same 7-inch TFT display as the S1 Pro. It also houses a reverse button, hill hold function, multiple profile settings and proximity alert. In fact, MoveOS 3 will be standard. However, as of now, all the features of the S1 Air are known. Cargo space is slightly smaller at 34 liters compared to 36 liters in the S1 Pro. But it’s expected to benefit from a flat floor, which will hopefully make it easier to place extra stuff than the curved floor on the S1 and S1 Pro.
