The delivery of the Ola S1 Air has been confirmed for July 2023, after the company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal teased the electric scooter on social media on May 23. Ola Electric has already started taking pre-orders for the scooter, but the buying window, test rides and deliveries will begin this July.
In his latest tweet, the Ola Electric CEO wrote about a test drive of the first S1 Air scooter. “Testing the first S1 Air flying machine!! Love them. See you in July,” he further wrote. Upon launch, the Ola S1 Air will be the cheapest model of the popular S1 electric scooter. Plus, it will be the most affordable scooter from the EV company. The Ola S1 Air electric scooter will be available in three variants priced from ¥84,999. The mid-range and high-end models of the S1 Air are priced at ¥99,999 and ¥109,000 (ex-showroom), respectively.

The three variants of the Ola S1 Air electric scooter will come with 2 kWh, 3 kWh and 4 kWh battery packs, offering different ranges on a single charge. Power will come from a 4.5 kW electric motor, giving the S1 Air a top speed of 85 km/h. The 2 kWh model can travel 85 km on a single charge, while the 3 kWh and 4 kWh models can travel 125 km and 165 km respectively.
Design-wise, the Ola S1 Air looks identical to the S1 and S1 Pro. The electric scooter is available in five two-tone paint themes – Coral Charm, Neo Mint, Porcelain White, Jet Black and Liquid Silver. Ola Electric also said that customers who pre-booked the 2.5 kWh model of the S1 Air during the company’s Diwali booking window will be upgraded to the 3 kWh model for free.
