Ola Electric has announced via social media that it plans to install 100 Superchargers at 50 locations in the Bengaluru city. The electric two-wheeler maker promises to have a supercharging station within 15 minutes from most corners of the city, which should help ease range anxiety for Ola S1 customers. Currently, the Super Charger is free for all S1 and S1 Pro customers.
Ola Electric did not provide a timetable for when these superchargers will be installed in the Karnataka state capital. Though the company has been in aggressive expansion mode, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see these chargers pop up all over the city in the next few weeks. Bengaluru is also home to the manufacturer’s headquarters, and it only makes sense to expand its fast-charging network from there.

The Ola Super Charger promises DC fast charging with a 15-minute range of 50 km and a state of charge of up to 70%. With MoveOS 3, users can find the super charger on the digital console of the S1 electric scooter. Ola app also gives you real-time updates on your phone’s charging status.
With over 200,000 strong customers in India and counting, Ola Electric must have an equally strong charging network ready to support the charging needs of its customers. However, the Supercharger is only available to S1 and S1 Pro customers, while S1 Air customers can only use AC charging to keep costs in check. In addition to the Supercharger network, the Ola S1 and S1 Pro also come with a 750W portable charger, while the S1 Air comes with a 500W portable charger. Both units support slow charging.
