Ola Electric founder Bhavish Aggarwal has announced that MoveOS 3 will be rolling out to everyone next week. According to Bhavish, MoveOS 3 adds major features and significant performance improvements to the software. So far, MoveOS 3 is only available to beta testers. Ola Electric has announced the features of MoveOS 3.
MoveOS 3 adds features first announced at the launch of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters. The scooter is finally getting Hill Hold Control, which controls the scooter to keep it on an incline. This should make climbing hills easier. So far, the scooter rolls back a distance because it takes a second before throttle input is registered.

The new software update also enables Hypercharging, so the e-scooters can charge 50 kilometers in 15 minutes. Ola Electric is working on increasing the number of Hyperchargers and the app now shows the location of the Hyperchargers.
MoveOS 3 also adds proximity unlocking to the S1 and S1 Pro. So now riders don’t need to enter a PIN or use a mobile app to unlock the scooter. Thanks to the proximity unlock, the scooter will be able to recognize the phone and automatically unlock the scooter.
Ola Electric says the acceleration of the scooter has been improved in Sport mode and Ultra mode. There’s a new vacation mode feature that puts the scooter’s battery into a sleep mode that lasts up to 200 days.
The scooters can now store files and have call alerts and auto-responders. Ola has also added profiles, widgets and party mode features.
