Ola Electric has relaunched the S1 and S1 Pro Gerua editions in the country. The five new colors of the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro include Cotton Candy, Millennium Pink, Anthracite Grey, Midnight Blue and Matte Black. Less than a month after rolling out the Move OS3 OTA update for electric scooters, new colors and more than 50 improvements have arrived. There is no price increase for the Gerua Edition or new color options.

Interestingly, the news comes on the same day that the refreshed Ather 450X Gen 3 launched, which also gets four new colors – Salt Green, Cosmic Black, Nardo Gray and True Red. It also received software updates, new accessories, new seats; an extended warranty and more. The company didn’t announce a price increase, either.

Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer, Ola Electric, said: “Ola made it to the top because it made electric vehicles satisfying, accessible and affordable for customers. Based on feedback from our community, we are bringing back the ‘Gerua’ version of our Two variants and also making the Ola S1 available in all 11 color palettes makes our scooter an even more exciting proposition.”

Ola Electric has been at the top of the sales charts in the high-end electric scooter segment. The company topped the 20,000 mark for the fourth month in a row since last October. The company hit its 100,000th production milestone last November, and the electric two-wheeler has cumulatively sold more than 150,000 units in 2022. The manufacturer has also been rapidly expanding its dealer network, with more than 100 experience centers. The goal is to have 200 such centers across the country by March 2022.
